Product Marketing Manager

SPH Engineering is a multiproduct drone software company and a global provider of Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) integration services. Founded in 2013 in Latvia (EU) as a UAV mission planning and flight control start-up, the company has evolved from a developer of a single flagship product (UgCS) to a market leader of multiple drone solutions. To provide high-quality solutions for UAV professionals, SPH Engineering's team advances four key product lines: 

  • UgCS: Mission planning and flight control software
  • Integrated Systems (IS): Airborne integrated systems with sensors from diverse manufacturers
  • Drone Show Technologies (DST): Software to manage drone swarm flights

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Product Marketing Manager, focused on crafting and executing impactful marketing strategies that amplify brand awareness and drive user acquisition, to join our UgCS Marketing team.

Responsibilities

What is Expected:

  • You will be a key performing member in the product with the “marketing-first” approach;
  • You will be a brand ambassador and work always with the customer in mind;
  • You will be proficient in international marketing with a focus on the United States and the European Union;
  • You will advocate a data-driven approach in your everyday decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy and tactic activities aimed at the leads and sales growth;
  • Development of compelling messaging and brand positioning that connects with target audiences throughout the buying journey;
  • Working with the marketing team to fulfill market-leading campaign calendars to drive engagement across the entire funnel, from acquisition to retention, covering digital (SEO & content, social media platforms, paid ad, email marketing, online webinars etc.), and traditional channels (exhibitions, conferences etc.);
  • Creation of various forms of product marketing content (website articles, case-studies, sales-presentations, promo releases, paid ad texts etc.);
  • Supervising relations with media, social media influencers with the support of the PR Manager to ensure visibility of the brand and product stories;
  • Conducting meaningful data analysis to evaluate campaigns’ performance and feed this information into the marketing plan process;
  • Providing actionable insights from the customer’s feedback, competitors research and market trends to enhance the marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience (preferably IT);
  • Proven experience managing product launches from conception to post-launch analysis;
  • Hands-on attitude with ability to self-manage and deliver results;
  • Customer- and value-based mindset;
  • Efficient time management skills;
  • Experience working with creative teams on visual concepts, graphics, videos, and other visuals to support product positioning and content strategy;
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills;
  • Fluency in English.
